"Cleaning" of missing desktops performed on April 6, 2007. If your desktop has been removed and you believe this is an error, please contact me. This page is only interesting if the desktops rotate on a regular basis. Therefore if I remove your desktop, it isn't personal - it just must be done in order to maintain interest for viewers. If you have been removed but wish to rejoin, I will gladly accept you back in provided you will continue to update your desktop in a reasonable span of time. During the apex of this page in about 2001 we had about 16 people updating regularly. Now we're down to 4... I don't really see much reason to keep this going much longer if another person drops off the page...
If you want to join this group, it's really simple. The images must reside on your own server space. The url you give me must be the one that will always be your current image. The small image for this page should be 300 pixels wide. The larger image, should you want to provide it, should be... well, bigger than the little one. It could be full size or scaled down slightly if you're trying to save space.
Oh, one other thing: if you join, you should update your desktop at least once a month or so. If you're a little over or under, I won't mind. But if I see the same image for months on end, I'll wipe your slot out.
Still wanna join? Ok, so EMAIL ME (be sure to remove the "REMOVE THIS" from the email address!)with your URLs. Whether you provide or have a desktops archive is up to you, but it's better if you do. If you do, send that URL too.
Sometimes it takes me a while to update this page and add people. Please be patient. If it seems like it's taking me forever (like 2 weeks or something) please re-email me.
