This isn't exactly an artistic endeavor; it's a record of an event. This is an amfibious car caught in
the rapids of the Deleware River just below New Hope. Basically, the guy decided to take it out
on the river one night, and found himself in the current which was stronger than his motor could
navigate, eventually getting hung up in the rapids here. He needed to be air-lifted
out of his car, if memory serves. The car sat there in the middle of the river for over a week.
I don't know how the car was eventually removed. This is the same spot that one of the
Gerensers ferries sat for months on end before finally being washed past the
rapids by Hurricane Floyd, I think.
