I took lots of pictures of the pier in Brighton, England, but then I walked
underneath it. The posts holding up the pier get denser and denser
the further it goes out. Finally, the end of the pier is a big circle that
is so dense with posts that from this vantage point it completely obliterates
the sky behind it, except for the tiny little square you see here.
This shot was actually taken with a disposable Kodak camera, as I hadn't
been to Bath yet, which is where I bought the AE-1. Had this been taken with
the AE-1, you would be able to see more detail as the pier recedes. But not a
bad shot for a disposable.
